Event Planning

Clifton House boasts a beautiful and atmospheric Main Entrance Hall, where you can meet and greet your guests on arrival.   

This leads to an impressive sweeping staircase  to the Boardroom.   Two smaller rooms are also available, and these can either be used as "breakout" rooms for a larger function, or rented individually for smaller meetings.

The rich history of the building has been lovingly preserved, and you will find a large collection of antiques and artifacts on display dating back to 1774, when the Poorhouse was built.

Theatre Style

Our Boardroom can comfortably seat 60 delegates theatre style

Cabaret Style

50 delegates can be seated comfortably at round tables (cabaret style).

This style creates a wonderful ambience and atmosphere at intimate events such as Fine Dining Evenings, Wedding Receptions. and Book Launches.

24 delegates can be seated around our impressive Boardroom table.
Coffee, tea and biscuits is complimentary on arrival. Internet access available. Technical equipment available on request, and is included in the hire price of the Boardroom.
